Pennsylvania / Maryland / West Virginia
Barrett performs construction activities in western Pennsylvania, western Maryland and northeastern West Virginia through our subsidiary IA Construction Corporation. Our major road construction and rehabilitation activities consist of asphalt paving and resurfacing of highways, streets, airport runways, parking lots and athletic tracks along with a full range of other services including excavation/grading, clearing/grubbing, construction of sub-grades and drainage. In addition, IA can provide milling, roadway sealing, patching, crack filling, guide rail/sign installation, highway lighting, box culverts, complete roadway recycling and small bridges.

We work extensively with PENNDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Maryland State Highway Administration, various counties, municipalities, airports and major commercial enterprises. Our experienced workforce has the training and knowledge to complete any size project to demanding specifications. Michigan
We are providers of asphalt paving, aggregate base construction, underground construction, site grading, milling and pavement repairs. Construction operations are performed in the eleven (11) counties of southeast Michigan. We have paved challenging projects from the Michigan International Speedway to I-75, I-94, and US-23 of the busy interstate highway system. We provide nearly every type of paving surface from SuperPave, Ultra-Thin overlays, Nova Chip, and open-graded drainage layers to conventional asphalt pavement applications. Additionally, we have had numerous projects recognized by the National Asphalt Pavement Association as Quality-in-Construction award winners.

Through our subsidiary Terry Asphalt Materials, Inc., we are actively involved in the pavement preservation business throughout the state. We specialize in performing MicroSurfacing and Interlayer products work for cities, counties, private owners as well as the Michigan Department of Transportation. We are an applicator of FiberMat™ brand interlayer that uses the FiberDec™ technology from Europe. We participate in the Hot Mix Asphalt paving industry by acting as a manufacturer of Polymer Modified Asphalt and neat asphalts and these products form the basic mix product used in new construction and overlay work. In addition, we produce polymer modified asphalt emulsion and plain emulsion used in chip sealing by various contractors and agencies throughout the state. As strong supporters of Asset Preservation, we believe in the right treatment for the right road at the right time. Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana
We offer complete construction services specializing in asphalt paving along with pavement preservation, pavement milling, asphalt repairs, aggregates bases, excavation/earthwork, grading, storm and sanitary sewer and water main/water service work. Our area of activity includes the nine counties surrounding the greater Dayton area and the rest of Southwest Ohio, including the Cincinnati metropolitan area, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. We contract work with counties, municipalities, townships, villages, private communities along with extensive work for various state Department of Transportation agencies. In addition, with our specialized commercial paving operation, Southern Ohio Paving, we also perform an extensive amount of paving operations in new housing developments as well as major commercial enterprises.

The sizes of our contracts vary from small to medium sized commercial projects to multi-million dollar interstate highway projects. Our projects have been recognized with numerous quality in construction awards from national and state organizations and our entire team is trained, knowledgeable, experienced and always exercises the best practices in construction methods and safety.
