With a workforce of over 1600 employees, Barrett operates a network of subsidiary companies and regional business units in four distinct geographic locations encompassing nine states. Our business is the construction and maintenance of roads, highways, airports, commercial facilities and just about anything else involving paving materials including bike paths, sports facilities, retention ponds, building projects, special landscaping and more. Our internal network of quarries, gravel pits, emulsion plants, liquid asphalt terminals, bituminous concrete (hot mix asphalt) plants and ready-mix concrete plants provide our construction operations with a wide range of high quality products. Many of our materials produced by our production facilities are also sold to third parties.
Our four geographic locations are New York/Maine, Pennsylvania/Maryland/West Virginia, Michigan and Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana. In each area we have a dedicated workforce with expertise, experience and state of the art equipment needed to build the job, produce the material and meet our customer’s demands.
